Welcome to the Official Plass Appliance Blog! We’re glad to have you here. A little history about us, we are a family owned and operated company started back in 1938. Yeah, that’s right, we said 1938. We’ve been in business for 74 years. You better believe it. Plass Appliance was started in 1938 by two brothers, Ed and Art Plass. With a big dream and little money, Art and Ed opened their first Plass Appliance showroom. Not long after opening their doors, the brothers were called off to war, so they passed the business on to their brother, Walter to run while away. Walter ended up becoming the sole proprietor and owner of Plass Appliance, running the business for 50 successful years. Today, the business has entered it’s third family generationa is run by Walter’s sons, brothers Dale and Harold Plass.
